A fuel tanker that had diesel on board is reportedly on fire at Salima turn off in Ntcheu district, a local media has reported.
According to Times 360, the tanker overturned people were trying to steal the fuel but police fired teargas to disperse them, which allegedly caused the inferno.
There have been no reports of casualties.
