Director of Strategy for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has asked Malawians to continue rallying behind the MCP and its leadership for continued development.
Zikhale Ng’oma, who is also Minister of Homeland Security, was speaking during a development rally at Chamwabvi Primary School ground in the area of Senior Chief Chilowamatambe in Kasungu.
He therefore emphasized on the need to give President Chakwera a chance to continue delivering various development projects across the country.
“The president has been working tirelessly to ensure that things are on the right track regardless of the many challenges the country has been facing. Look Malawi is now experiencing a wave of development projects for the common good,” said Zikhale.
MCP Deputy Secretary General, who is also Speaker of the National Assembly, Catherine Gotani Hara also urged the people to go and register in large numbers when the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) opens voter registration exercise so that they should be among the eligible voters in the coming elections.
In her remarks, Member of Parliament for Kasungu South East Khumbize Kandondo Chiponda assured her constituents that the Affordable Inputs Program (AIP) for the next growing season will start in good time.
Meanwhile, MCP Regional Chairperson for the centre Patrick Zebron Chilondola has urged the people of Kasungu South East to continue supporting their parliamentarian so that she continues to deliver various development projects in the area.
Minister of Gender Jean Sendeza, Minister of Education Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, Members of Parliament and chiefs also attended the rally.-MBC Online
