FCB Malawi appoints Agness Jazza as new CEO

First Capital Bank (FCB) Malawi has appointed Ms. Agness Jazza as the bank’s new Chief Executive Officer (CE0).

Bank’s Board Chairman, Terence Davidson confirmed the appointment through a media statement.

According to the media statement, the appointment was with immediate effect from 21st of July 2023.

“The Board of First Capital Bank Malawi wishes Agness the greatest success in her role as new CEO,” said Davidson in a statement

Jazza established her career with the bank immediately after completing her undergraduate studies and has for the past 25-years risen up the ranks due to her talent, hard work and loyalty.   

She is a graduate of the Stellenbosch University’s Executive Development program and holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Management College of South Africa (Mancosa).

First Capital Bank Malawi Plc, formerly known as First Merchant Bank Plc, is a commercial bank in Malawi.

It is licensed by the Reserve Bank of Malawi, the central bank and national banking regulator. It is a subsidiary of FMB Capital Holdings.
