Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) President for the Indian Ocean Division Pastor Harrington Simui Akombwa will visit Malawi from July 11 to July 16, 2023.
Malawi Union Conference of SDA, President Pastor Tonny Yoram Nyirenda, confirmed the development in an interview with Nation Online.
Among other engagements, according to Pastor Nyirenda, the visiting Pastor Akombwa will meet Malawi President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Pastor Nyirenda said Akombwa’s coming is important because it will strengthen the Christian faith.
During his visit, he will also hold meetings with the church leadership at regional level, visit congregations and pray for the sick at the Adventist Hospital in Blantyre.
