FCB rewards civil servants in ‘Zanga Phee’ Promo

Three civil servants have won a Gas Stove and 5kg Cylinder each while 10 others have won branded T-Shirts in the on-going First Capital Bank (FCB) Civil Servant Loan ‘Zanga Phee’ Promotion.

The three; Peter Chikoja, Haxwel Mkandawire and Mangani Diana were announced on Thursday during the second draw of the promotion which took place at FCB Headquarters in Blantyre.  

T-Shirts winners are; Victory Banda, Kachola Eslon, Chirambo Mezk, Lauzu Lephnat, Chinkhota Victor, Mzachime Samuel, Omega Charles, Phiri Alice, Kamba Edson and Mazoni Harold.

Speaking in an interview after the draw FCB’s Head of Marketing, Twikale Chirwa expressed satisfaction with the increased number of civil servants taking part in the promotion.

“So far we have seen that there has been an increase in terms of people entering into the draw as well as accessing and inquiring about our loans.

“About 229 people entered the promotion for the second draw and for the first draw we had 197 that were eligible for the draw,” said Chirwa

In the promotion, Civil servants stand a chance to win a grand prize of MK1 Million and other prizes by simply applying for or topping up civil servant loans.

Civil servants can apply for a minimum of MK 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand kwacha) to win the grand prize.

The loan is fast, flexible, affordable and does not require any form, collateral or security as long as one is permanently employed by the Malawi government.

The loan is processed within 48-hours and can be used to purchase personal assets, paying school fees, farming and business startups among others.

According to Chirwa, the Zanga Phee Promotion, which is under Bank’s loan facility, runs up to July 18 this year.
