Pastor Sam to Drop ‘Answer My Prayer’

By Moses Nyirenda

A Mponela-based gospel musician, Pastor Sam says he is set to release his new single titled ‘Answer my prayer’ on April 25, 2020, as one way of preaching the word of God through music.

In an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana), Pastor Sam whose full name is Samson Chapo said the upcoming single is carrying inspirational message which is encouraging his fans and the Christians at large not to give up in prayers when they face problems in life.

“The song which I am yet to release is talking about a person who is going through different problems and the person prayed to God for a longtime seeking interventions towards his problems but the prayers were not answered.

“However the person did not stop praying but surrendered himself completely to God believing that one day He will answer everything which he has been asking for, in short the song is an inspiration to my fans not to give up in prayers,” Pastor Sam said.

He added that, currently everything is in place for the song to be released saying that all studio work for the single has been completed.

“I have done all production work for the song, as of now the track is almost ready just waiting for its releasing date,” he said.

Pastor Sam first appeared into music business in the year 2000; however he was not active until 2015 when he released ‘Amandikonda’ after being inspired by local gospel musicians that include Lloyd Phiri and Faith Mussa.

Along the way in the year 2016, the artist released another single titled ‘Ndagoma nanu yesu’ and in the year 2018 he released two singles titled ‘Simphamvu’ and ‘Nokha’.

The Amandikonda hit maker is confident that his new song will help his fans strengthen their spiritual levels and succeed in life.

“My fans will experience great victory after getting the message from my new song, since it is encouraging them to stand still in God no matter what situation they might face and it is also motivating them to pray hard until something happens in their lives,” he said.

The Song has been produced at Jire Studios at Mponela in Dowa district by Limbikani Sulumba and it will be available on online music platforms including; www.malawimusic.com and Facebook after its release, according to Pastor Sam.
