Dear Good People,
With your relentless support from every corner of the country and elsewhere, the system came to a common sense. They released me. It was a politically orchestrated vendetta.
For this particular arrest, it was a comment made by my friend which seemingly annoyed and triggered the Orders Above. The Orders Above in this context should not be confused with ultimate Orders Above. These lower individual(s) trying to exercise their Authority.
To be honest, drama today has given me a valuable insight how politics influence law enforcement. This was an attempt to intimidate. The avalanche of Summons haven’t drowned the voice.
The arrest was the second gear. We don’t know what will be the third gear. May be we will be skinned alive.
Special Thanks to all of you who firmly stood by me. You worked behind the scenes. The drama was uncalled for. Frivolous & Laughable.
I was driven in handcuffs from Salima-Lilongwe.
Azimai, A Yoswa Simunthu Wamba. You descended on Area 18 Police Station to get the story from the horse’s mouth. You could only shake your head in disbelief.
