Big Brother Nigeria is back and bigger with season 6. This year the contestants will be in the house for 72 days vying for USD218 000, the biggest cash prize in the history of the show. Viewers can stay connected through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps which are user-friendly and convenient ways to manage your DStv and/or GOtv account, fix errors, pay online with the new VISA card enablement, upgrade packages and update your details all from the convenience of your mobile device. This season there will be no SMS voting, all voting will take place through the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.
Customers can also stay up to date with all the Big Brother gist, anytime and anywhere with the DStv App , available to anyone with a DStv subscription. Using the DStv app, customers are able to watch the same live channels and shows on Catch Up as they do via their decoders – the app makes it possible for customers to also watch DStv on their smartphones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs.
To save on data and get more bang for their buck, subscribers are able to download the DStv content they’d like to watch offline on their phone or tablet later, using the DStv app.
Big Brother Nigeria season 6 will also run 24/7 on DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access packages on channel 197 and on GOtv Max and Plus packages on channel 29 with the double launch show taking place on Saturday, 24 July and Sunday, 25 July 2021. Both shows will air from 20:00 CAT on DStv channel 197 and GOtv channel 29 with a simulcast-on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban and Africa Magic Family.
