The Main Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has fired Grezelder Jeffrey as Party’s Secretary General.
Jeffrey confirmed the development on Wednesday morning in an interview with Times Group Media. She said was not moved by the decision by the party leadership to fire her.
“I am not worried at all…actually this is good for me. I will be going home in Nkhotakota,” said Jeffrey
According to inside sources, Jeffrey has been fired for pushing for party’s president Peter Mutharika’s resignation.
She was appointed as the Secretary General of the Democratic Progressive Party-DPP in January 2017.
