Political rights activist Bon Kalindo will spend another night in the cooler after police failed to take him before court on Wednesday due to lack of a charge sheet.
Kalindo’s lawyer Gilbert Khonyongwa and Vice Chairperson of the Concerned Citizens, Levie Luwemba have confirmed the development.
Police arrested Kalindo on Tuesday for alleged illegal electricity connection in Area 25 Lilongwe.
