DPP-UDF Alliance Presidential runningmate Atupele Muluzi has on behalf of His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika consoled families of Ntcheu accident where six people have lost their lives and two others were injured by a runway truck on Monday.
Muluzi joined the bereaved families and people in Ntcheu for the send off ceremony at Ntcheu District Hospital for the six people who died on the accident.
Muluzi also took some time to visit one injured patient at the hospital and where one victim has been discharged.
President Mutharika has ordered that government meet all costs for the funeral arrangement of the six deceased families and wish a quick recovery to the two who are nursing their injuries.
Muluzi has since condoled each family with MK200,000 on behalf of the State President.
The innocent police officer was brutally killed by Chakwera’s thugs in his constituency at Msungwe in Lilongwe.
