Senior Police Officer Confesses Poisoning Deputy IG

Mwapasa: Survived by God’s grace
Former Head of International Police (Interpol) in Malawi Assistant Commissioner of Police based at the Central Region Police Khetase Yiwombe has confessed to her pastor that one of the top bosses at Area 30 Police sent her to China to poison Deputy Inspector General Duncan Mwapasa.

Mwapasa and Yiwombe were sent to China in 2016 to attend Interpol meeting but Mwapasa attended the meeting for a day and spent the other days in pain after allegedly being poisoned by Yiwombe on instructions from a top cop.

After the trip and feeling guilty, Yiwombe went to her church and made public confession that she was sent to China to poison Mwapasa and that she was asking God to forgive her. But one of the ushers revealed the confessions to the Head of Investigations at Police who is believed to have shared the news with others.

At that time, Yiwombe was based at National Police Headquarters but was later removed to Central Region Police and was also removed from her position as Head of Interpol in Malawi.

Yiwombe is now worried that her confessions have been made available to her bosses. She is narrating her story in a whatsapp conversation with her pastor, Lawrence Banda.

Here is how the chat goes:
Pastor, am very down and depressed all my confession are on social media, little did I know that am confessing to human being not God, life is so unfair.

Sister Khetase good Morning. Explain to me what has actually happened?
Pastor seems one of the Ushers are connected to the Director of Investigations who happen to be my boss he is the one fabricating the content of my confession I can’t even explain further
Oh noooo sister I have worked with them let me ask them please
Am finished
It is everywhere, everyone is talking about that confession ndipeza bwanji mtendere, ndipo ndigwira bwanji ntchito….

Police sources say Khetase was in love with the top cop who had sent her to poison Mwapasa. A meeting was convened at the national police headquarters where the matter was downplayed. Khetase was not available for comment.
