Livingstonia Synod Rebuffs MCP: We Still Have Memories Of Our Own Sons And daughters Who Suffered During One Party System

CCAP SYNOD OF LIVINGSTONIA HAS DISOWNED TO THE RECENT LETTER ON SOCIAL MEDIA WHICH SAID:
SYNOD MET RICHARD MSOWOYA WHO IS THE VICE PRESIDENT OF MCP-MALAWI CONGRESS PARTY AND THE 1ST SPEAKER OF MALAWI NATIONAL ASSEMBLY.

As SYNOD we disown ourselves from the letter went on social media that SYNOD of Livingstonia met Msowoya. We are there for calling for the immediate meeting this Friday the 19th of December 2018 to discuss on the same issue. We as Synod has not endorsed any political party and if there were few interested Revs who has been interested in MCP let it be but for us were not part of it and we will come up with our on stand.

Richard is the son of the North and we can not and shall not disregard our own blood. Malawi Congress Party should really be very careful not to divide us. We as Synod still have the memories of our on sons and daughters whom suffered during one Party system. The Chisiza, Orton Chirwa, Kanyama Chiume to mention few. And today who ever wants to jump in to Malawi Congress Party let it be his own choice but not tarnishing the image of the Church.

As the Church We will come up with our own statement after the meeting.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Some of you commenting here were young or were not yet born during MCP era. It was hell I can tell you. Frtunately those of us who suffered we have been passing on the story to our children and we can’t make such a mistake to take our hand back into the mouth of a snake.
