Fear Grips Tunisia As FA Offers Free Access And Transport To The Malawi Game

Tunisian continue to be sacred of the Malawi  as they play the hot flames  tomorrow and this has been confirmed by the Tunisia Football Federation  who have decided to provide free access and free transportation to the stadium in order to maximize attendance.

“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.” If Malawi scores first the “Tunisia supporters” will be dead silent according to a statement on worldcupblog.org.

This was also echoed by the Tunisia national team assistant Coach Sami Trabelsi who believes that the Carthage Eagles are in for a tough encounter against Malawi. Trabelsi rates the Malawians as much better than the Chadian team the Carthage Eagles were able to defeat 3-1 in N’Djamena in their most recent 2012 AFCON qualifier.

“They’re a more technical side than Chad. They have good attackers who play without fear of their opponents. We have to pay attention, Malawi can surprise us at any moment in the match,” said Trabelsi.

Malawi plays Tunisia in a crucial match that will see if Malawi will still have a chance to qualify for Africa cup of nation. Currently Malawi is in forth position in the table and a result in Tunisia will raise Malawi’s hopes to qualify.

Malawi has a good record with North African teams and this is making the Tunisian nation nervous. Polls conducted has show that 45 % of the Tunisians  think it will be a draw while 34 % think Tunisia will win and 18 % think Malawi will win.

Tunisia has also been having difficulties in the qualifying as they have already lost one game to Botswana a game that was played in Tunisia and managed to beat Chad 3-1.

However Malawi has also seen two draws in the qualifiers but before leaving Malawi for Tunisia the Malawi National Team coach Kinnah Phiri said that Tunisia will be a hard nut to crack: “The message I am leaving behind is that it won’t be easy at all but I can assure the nation that we’ll go out flat out for all three points. If things get tough then definitely we should come back with a point.

The Malawi National Team Captain Peter Mponda also thinks that Malawi will get at least a point in Tunisia. “Coming back with a point in this game is a realistic result. We’ll go there and enjoy the game. In fact, we might come back with three points but certainly not empty-handed.”

The game will be played at 22.30 malawi time at November 7 Stadium
