Chilima Planning A Stage a Coup D’etat

Chilima: Set for a coup d‘etat to unseat President Mutharika

Former Vice President of the Republic of Malawi Saulos Klaus Chilima who was on Monday controversially reinstated as the country’s second in command is planning a coup d‘etat to unseat President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, we have established.

Chilima, was on Monday returned as the country’s Vice President by the 5 High Court Judges that were sitting in Lilongwe as a Constitutional Court.

According to our sources in the UTM party of Saulos Chilima, on Tuesday evening a meeting was called at Chilima’s retirement home in the city of Lilongwe to put together the grand plan for an early ouster of President Mutharika.

Our source disclosed that Chilima was meeting leaders of the terrorist group, the HRDC to chart the way forward on future demonstrations for regime change in Malawi.

Apart from Timothy Mtambo, Gift Trapence and Macdold Sembereka who represented the HRDC, the team on Chilima’s side included Khwesi Msusa, Wilkins Mijiga, Patricia Kaliati, Noel Masangwi and Michael Usi.

According to disclosures from the meeting, Chilima is organizing the demonstrations with HRDC to be done twice a week in order to force President Mutharika resign from office and that he (Chilima) takes over power now that technically he is Vice President of the country. HRDC’s Timothy Mtambo has since announced that they will restart demonstrations against Chairperson of the Malawi Electoral Commission, Justice Jane Ansah.

Our source has disclosed that the opposition won the case by among other issues promising Justice Healey Potani of the High Court to be elevated to the Chief Justice position of the country.

Chilima is reported to have promised Potani who is also Chilima’s personal friend that once he wins the Constitutional case and he succeeds in removing President Mutharika, Potani was destined to be named the country’s head of the Judiciary replacing the incumbent, Justice Andrew Nyirenda. Apart from being friends, Chilima and Potani drink heavily together often times.

Apart from the friendship between Chilima and Potani, Chilima’s wife who comes from Mzimba is a niece to one of the Judges that also sat on the same bench of the Constitutional Court, Dingiswayo Madise.

Apart from Potani who sat on the controversial panel of 5 judges handling the Elections Case, the others were Ivy Kamanga, Dingiswayo Madise, Mike Tembo, and Redson Kapindu.

The 5 Judges have come under heavy attack from a majority of Malawians of goodwill for annulling the country’s May 2019 Presidential polls without following the law.

The 5, have since been described as the most corrupt and disgraced members of the bench.

I think it may be important to add that there was an element of Judge shopping on the ConCourt Bench. How come samebench includedJustice Mike Tembo (appointed High Court Judge by President Joyce Banda, fromposition of Court Registrar), Justice Redson Kapindu (also appointed High Court Judge by President Joyce Banda from a South African University where he was a lecturer). Justice Tembo and Justice Kapindu were appointed on the same day (see Nation online of 24 June 2013). Apart from Justice Madise being a relation of Mrs Chilima, he is also an operative of the Peoples Party of Joyce Banda. He was on Khumbo Kachali’s side when Joyce Banda appointed Uladi Mussa as Acting President of the Peoples Party at the time she was living abroad. Justice Madise was actively involved in the stand off. Justice Ivy Kamanga was the Judge that presided on the Treason case of the so called Mid Night Six (although she later recused).Justice Ivy Kamanga was also involved in the protest of Judiciary Officers against the appointment of Justice Maxon Mbendera to the Supreme Court saying she was more senior to Justice Mbendera. Justice Mbendera was MEC Chair that declared APM as winner of the Presidential Elections in 2014 and refused nullification by the then President Joyce Banda. To be honest there is no way that that APM and MEC should have expected anything from such a Court Bench.

The article in question above is correct, and thus why you see the guys below getting confused that the truth is already known. Akulu do not worry about the insults these guys are pooring on you for the telling the truth. We are with you and we will fight on until this panel of the judges is given the rightful disciplinary action by Judiciary itself soon or later. When John Chil;embwe lead the revolt where people had to steal guns and they killed a white man, the government retaliated by killing Chilembwe and his followers. That was the British Government killing a Malawian human rights defender and freedom fighter John Chilembwe and his followers. Did Malawi government sue the British Government at International Criminal Court for the action and demand compensation or request international community to impose sunctions on the British Government to force it make compansation? I have not heard this in my entire 50+ years I have lived so far. My point is that we have HRDC terrorising Malawians working with some Malawians who do not want to accept that people did not want them to rule the country and they will not with such behaviour noted by so many Malawians. Why is HRDC left to be terrorising Malawians at their will and dictating events in Malawi when we opted for democracy where people need to listen to each other to foster a better way forward, than dictatorship by a human rights group. One day I will not be surprised to hear some soldier got confused up and stole a gun and amunition and fired at these HRDC people and kill himself after eliminating these guys. It can even be during the demos themselves. We look forward to our soldiers one day saving Malawians from this harrassment we are passing through. When we were opting for multipatism, we wanted parties to be working together and only differing in their development ideologies not the rubbish we see now with opposition parties castigating the party in government left and right when actually the party in government is doing so well. Had it not been for the coolness of APM and DPP, Malawians would have been at war by now and we are ready for this . We are tired of being tortured by HRDC and the opposition MCP , UTM and PP. Thus not what we had voted for. Now Chewas and Lomwes are enemies just because of careless statements. Do lomwes or yaos vote twice for their parties to be winning elections? You people need to know that lomwes and yaos stay nice with their colleagues and they know they cannot win an election on their own but by working together with others and therefore they stay and chat well with other tribes and they know that staying and working together for a common goal makes the group win in their competitions be it elections or whatever. You cannot win an election by castigating another tribe in the land never. So stop talking against lomwes and Yaos and learn to accommodate each tribe as Malawians. DPP is happy working with everybody and from any tribe. Many of us we looking forward to further improvement of people from the south working nicely with people from the north, centre and south and South east like Rt hon. Goodal Gondwe, Hon. Jappie Mhango, Hon Grace Obama Chiumia, Hon Chilenga, Hon. Greenwell Mwamondwe, Paramount Chiefs like Kiyungu, Mbelwa, Gomani, Lungu and all senior chiefs and other chiefs in Malawi, in centre Hon Bitton Kumtsaira from Lilongwe, Rt. Hon Uladi Mussa, our precious DPP Secretary General, Greszelder Geofrey, machine bambo, timamva nao kukoma zedi a SG athu, the Talking computer Hon. Dr Hetherwick Ntaba, Mtengo wa Minga -Hon. Henry Mussa, Hon. George Chaponda, Rt Hon. Kondwani Nankhumwa , Rt Hon. Bright Msaka in the East , All regional and district, constituency governors and all women and youth directors in DPP,all NGC members and all DPP members and supporters. We are looking forward with much improved working relationship and fading out of fear for our colleagues in the north who in those days were being feared for nepotism, regionalism and the like, which is no longer here from the experience so far in the past 15 years of working together. We look forward to a time soon or later that we shall have DPP President from the North and Vice President from the East, Centre or South and vice versa. This can only be achieved by working together as a team and as Malawians and not castigating another tribe just for having a party that was founded by a lomwe. There is no country in the world from my experience where a tribesman forms a party and almost all of them refuse to support it and support other parties from other tribes. In all tribes there will be other people who will opt to support other parties other than the tribal party, but majority of those tribes support a party from their tribe like the chewas, tumbukas, lomwes, yaos, tongas, etc do. So stop casting the lomwes and yaos, just bring development ideologies that will attract us to vote for your party than castigating each other, killing albinos with the aim or turnishing other parties or party in government as is the case by MCP and UTM ideologies. Telling lies that eople in govt are steeling money yet we know some people in MCP and UTM that if we ewre to probe them when they were working in civil service even now whilst in politics, we can get them arrested and tried by the courts to conviction. Stop this bickering too much , tell us developments you will offer us and if thus what we want then we can vote for your party, stop intimidating us, otherwise we will get tired and decide something you never thought of in Malawi. We would also greatly appreciate if Rt Hon . Atupele Muluzi and UDF would make an electral alliance or joins up with DPP and become the Might party that will be seen winning elections now beyond 2084 to 3084. We will be happy to work with our colleagues in UDF, Rt Hon.Chris Daza’s party, Mbakuwaku party, even Umodzi Party for Rt.Hon John Chisi and any patyr that may want to join hands with DPP, a party for all tribes, all regions, all districts ,all constituencies, all areas, all branches and all houses. We are all human beings and there is nobody made from plastic or metal. to write more later

If SKC is planning a coup, then action has to be taken with immediate effect, arrest him, arrest HRDC, and let the law take its course. We do not need to wait for APM to order us carry out our duties. We need to use the laws and act as it is supposed to be. So I ask the security agencies to act now. if other HRDC supporters continue causing problems then the community will be mobilised to take retaliateive action against them.
